I had a very wonderful time riding the trails The scenery was so awesome from all the ponds to the great view of the countryside, The trail ranged from easy to difficult and it was just a very enjoyable ride. I wish we had had more time, I am really looking forward to another visit, it's worth the visit.

Hi Darrel
Hey I sure loved the trails that you have opened. Some are easy and some are tough. I really like the over the hill and through the creek up the gullies. The one we cleared on Saturday. Let me know when you need me again.

Again thanks

Jerry

Hi Darrel,

" I left Corvallis, Oregon Dec. 12, 2000 for a trip to Carlton, Oregon. I was delivering Darrel’s new Conquest. I looked at the map and noticed he lived right along Panther Creek. And right on the map it said ' Von's Airstrip.'
When I arrived at the entry to his place there was a 20-foot lumberjack carved from a huge tree. Inside, I had to drive around for fifteen minutes before I finally found his house on a little knoll overlooking the river valley. It was very, very beautiful.
We unloaded the Conquest and went for a ride to a little lake above his house. It was a beautiful sunny day, and everything went well. We went right into the lake with the Argo Conquest. Afterwards, we continued on up the trails through his 500 acres. It was just beautiful. There were trails everywhere through the forest, which was mostly old-growth timber. We drove around his property for five hours and never covered the same trail twice and then came back down Panther Creek. Great run, great day, great trip around his property.

What a spectacular Argo Day at Big Bear Countree! Dad and I had a blast. Your forest playground has everything to offer and then some.
The turkey dinner was a delicious surprise, along with the apple and cherry pie ala mode. Couldn’t have wished for a more exciting day. Scrambling up the rock pit, finding the mother of all mud holes, chasing down Panther Creek rapids, digging in on the steep hillsides, and playing bumper boats on the lake. Dad and I will be talking about this one for some time to come.
Thanks so much for hosting the great day.
